Monica Har was an avid poker player. In 2025, she won the first-ever Northwest Deaf Poker Women’s event. Sadly, Monica passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 43.
At the following NWDPT tournament in 2026, the ladies honored Monica’s memory by buying a seat for her in the tournament. Her seat finished 13th out of 20 players—a touching tribute to a fellow poker player who will never be forgotten.
